Arbor provides before- and after-school care daily throughout the school year and holiday camps on select days.
After-School Care: Enrichment
Arbor’s after-school program is called Enrichment because we feel it enriches the children’s school experience by providing a warm, homelike environment and a continuation of the Montessori philosophy of mutual respect, independence and cooperation that children are accustomed to in the classroom.
Our Enrichment program is available for children ages five and older from 3pm until 6pm, Monday through Friday. Enrichment is located at the Lavista Campus.

Enrichment is designed to be a warm, homelike environment and one that provides a continuation of the Montessori philosophy of mutual respect, independence and cooperation that children are accustomed to in the classroom. In our program, children develop social skills such as the ability to work and interact with others, the ability to solve problems and to seek help when needed. We accomplish these goals by providing both planned activities and structured times for children to play, read, write or just be together.
The indoor environment includes a quiet area for reading, creative writing, or just resting; an arts and crafts area; and an area for indoor games. The outdoor environment offers a deck for large craft projects and informal gatherings; a patio for activities such as hopscotch, four square, and jump rope; a wooded area where children may walk, play on the equipment or rest on the decks along the paths; a half-basketball court; and a full playing field for group games.
Space may be limited. For more information, fees and availability, please contact Trae Haskins.

Early Morning Care
Early morning care is available before the school day begins and is designed to help students prepare for the coming school day with opportunities for reading, small-group conversation, and other quiet activities.
- On the Scott Campus, Early Morning Care is from 8am to 8:30am and is available to Primary students.
- At the Lavista campus, Early Morning Care is from 7:30am to 8:15am and is available to Elementary and AP students
Space is limited at both campuses. For more information, fees and availability, please contact Trae Haskins.
Conference Camp
In addition to before- and after-school care, Arbor offers full-day Conference Camp during parent-teacher conference days and teacher workdays for children ages five and older. Students may play and explore in both indoor and outdoor spaces, participate in specially-planned crafts and activities and spend time with one another outside the regular classroom environment. Please check the school calendar or call the office for specific dates.
